  1. Oh, congratulations! It's actually giving me little shivers of happiness to see all those beautiful textiles you've been showing us with an actual BABY in 'em. Yay! And happy new year!

  2. we hope you enjoy your bubby as much as we have been enjoying our nearly 3 week old. what a beautiful thing that people everywhere around the world experience the same love, joy and wonder for their baby – no matter who they are or where they come from! happy new year

  3. How wonderful… enjoy, I miss my baby that age, and she is only 5 months old! That was probably the best xmas present you got.
Happy 2011 with a new life around you.

  4. what a sweet and lucky little man! he is so, so adorable. that second photo is too cute. 🙂 lots of love to you all, joannaxo

  5. congratulations! I'll keep following your wonderful blog, gives me so much inspiration, even started to knit a baby sweater, too small for my daughter but I´m hoping for siblings!

  6. Eli, a beautiful name was on our top 3 list. All the boys/men we've known with the name have been quite special indeed. No exception here.

Could you share where you purchased the straw colored rug and the dark blue/gray rugs from your photos? Searching proves so difficult on the computer and my wee ones aren't up for searching shops!

    Thank you.
    Warmly.

  7. hi julie
i'm not sure if these are the rugs you mean, but we have this one in our living room:

(bought mainly for it's practicality with having a dog)

    and this one:
