eli seems ready to switch from a crib to a toddler bed and i’m trying to find a bed that will fit his crib mattress and that he can toss around in without falling out. i saved this photo from years ago and i still love these beds. it was from a story about lisa mahar’s home– the owner of kid-o. i’m guessing they were probably custom made… does anyone know?
this brilliant idea of making a hammock with a moby wrap came from all for the boys, via momfilter.
we went to lancaster, pennsylvania this weekend to visit a babysitter of eli’s who was a student at pratt and then moved back home last fall. i loved driving by the amish farms… they were really beautiful, especially when the wash lines were strung with clothes. i bought these kid-sized hats at an amish market. i wondered if dressing up like an amish person would be disrespectful to their culture… but then decided that if the hats are for sale to the general public then it’s probably okay.
a friend and i stopped in a couple secondhand clothing stores yesterday and i found some great stuff for eli. i love these colors.
